  1. I and my daughter and grandaughters thoroughly enjoyed the Legend of Sleepy Hollow. We thought that Carl Barlow was fantastic as Ichabod Crane. His dancing, singing and acting was excellent. I loved watching him and the different antics he went through. The sound effects man was also fantastic too. The headless horseman and the singing of the choir and the solo singers were really so good. Everything was excellent. So glad we heard about it and were there for the hay ride and other things. Thanks for all your hard work, Marilyn Wright

  2. I travelled from California to see this last year and it was worth the trip. I heard it was great, but I was a little dubious. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how good the show is. This production is so professionally done. The songs are well written. The whole show is funny and engaging. The acting is fabulous. The narrator is phenomenal. The sound effects guys had me rolling. I wish I could go again this year. I’ll definitely make it to Alice in Wonderland though.

At some point, this show will be famous and tickets will be really expensive, but will still sell out the first day they are available. I recommend going this year while it is still easy and affordable and taking the whole family.

  3. I loved this show! Congratulations on a well organized event. The hayrides, games and side attractions were executed smoothly and were lots of fun.

The play itself was wonderful family entertainment. I noticed that the children were so well behaved and very attentive throughout the entire production.

The costumes and set were wonderful. The choir, orchestra, singers, and actors, and horse rider showed much talent. The Narrator was practically flawless in his reading. You captured the spirit of Mr. Irving’s story!

Again, this was wonderful, wholesome family entertainment, enjoyed by all who attended! Thank you for your time and hard work. This production was a blessing to the community.

  4. [2006] - Spectators arrive … to the warm tones of flute, violin, cello and trumpet as [cast members] in period costume welcome you to ‘Sleepy Hollow’ at the pre-show harvest festival.

As the show begins, manufactured fog floating eerily across the stage. The narrator tells the tale of Ichabod Crane, an itinerant schoolmaster who quickly falls in love with the daughter of a wealthy farmer. Ichabod’s reactions to the story and comments on his personal appearance made by the narrator are hilarious.

The music, composed by Steven Smith, fit the show perfectly and takes advantage of the musicians’ and singers’ talent.

The show is easily appropriate for the whole family, the arrival of the Headless Horseman, carrying a lit jack-o-lantern, adding an extra touch. ‘Sleepy Hollow’ is delightful for all.
